Teaching Northwest Sailors for over 31 years!
   Learning to sail is rewarding and fun, and most of our classes can be completed in a weekend. Whether it's day sailing with family and friends or pursuing bare boat or charter adventures, Island Sailing offers the training, certifications and equipment required to do so ... If you're new to sailing or unsure about the commitment, we encourage you to discuss any concerns and ask questions. If you've never sailed before, ask us about arranging a casual introductory sail with an instructor to see whether sailing is right for you. Getting started is an easy process: Our website contains general information related to our classes, schedules, rentals, and club membership; as well as information for each location (we are located in Portland, Olympia and Kirkland). Day Sail to Government Island Members are encouraged to sign up for the Cruising Group's first sail of the season - A day sail to Government Island for a picnic lunch.
