Kirkland Office Relocation August 1, 2009
The Kirkland office has moved to a new location adjacent to our old location. We are now located on the lower level at 123 S Lake Street Suite B-2 just below the Salon 150. For those who have previously taken our classes here Kirkland, this is where our classroom is located. Island Sailing’s phone number remains (800) 303-2470. Kirkland’s direct number is (360) 601-9821. We understand that the new office location is a little less convenient than the old location as it is one block from the water, so we ask your patience as we work through this new change. Staff will still be available to assist you with mooring and casting off boats during office hours. We ask that you give us a heads up call before hand, or communicate any special needs when making the reservation. Children’s PFDs (life jackets) will now be located in the new office and as before we insist you visit the office prior to departure for proper PFD fitting if you do not already have a children’s sized PFD. Adult PFD’s are still available on each boat. Presently we are working with the City of Kirkland to obtain permits to locate a covered kiosk on the 2nd Avenue pier where the boats are currently moored, similar to what the city uses for other moorages. Long-term, this is part of a larger effort to work closely with the city on improving the docks, improving security, and generally freeing funds for improving the vessels and operations….
